Dunham Massey lights

There was a very hard frost this morning, which froze the marina and meant there was a crunching noise as we moved about the boat. The main boat job for the day was to get some diesel. I did two trips with the jerry can, so added 40 litres to the tank.

This afternoon, we drove over to Lymm to see our friends who live there. We had a lovely couple of hours there and it was great to catch up with them; we were last there in August, when we went to Lymm by boat. One of the reasons we went to see them today was because we had tickets for the Christmas light trail at Dunham Massey, along with my sister and family, and at least a dozen of their friends. It was a great evening, even if it was below freezing the whole time. I’ll let photos do the talking.

These bubbles filled with smoke turned out to be one of the most popular features.

We had a hot drink half way round, then continued the trail.

We said our goodbyes and headed back to the boat in time to watch The Traitors on a slight delay.
