We’re getting ready to leave the marina on Monday, so while we’ve still got unlimited electricity we’ve done two loads of washing today, including the bedding. And the electricity is unlimited, because there are no individual meters here so we pay a fixed fee. There really signs of spring all around, including these tiny short daffodils alongside the marina road.
Macc has been getting very excited about his breakfast the past few days, so in order to slow him down and give him some mental stimulation he had half his kibble in a snuffle ball this morning. You hide the food in the folds and he has to find it, by rolling it about or giving it a shake.

We’d been wondering whether Macc’s bouts of craziness were linked to his food, so this afternoon Adrian went to Woofingtons in Bollington (which is owned by the trainer we’re seeing) who specialise in healthy dog food. He came back with lots of good info and a licki mat, which we’d been planning on getting anyway. Tomorrow we’ll be trying out some of the advice. Later on I took Macc out for a walk in the sling. He was a right pain in it yesterday, but today once he’d spent the first few minutes wrigging and nipping, seemed to realise there was lots to look at and settled down quite well.

He’s also learned the basics of the paw trick in the past 24 hours, which shows he is capable of picking things up very quickly. There are also times that we can see he’s thought about biting the bottom of our trousers, but decided not to. More of that please!
