It snowed on and off yesterday evening and was very cold again, so by this morning everything looked very pretty. The ice on the marina had a layer of snow over it.

Adrian had some work to do so I headed out for a walk. The frozen and snowy canal also looked lovely in the sunshine.

There was one spot where the ducks seemed to have kept a spot ice-free.

Middlewood Way, my route back, was also looking nice — and everyone using it seemed more cheerful than usual.

When I got back we both headed out for a walk in the opposite direction, and took a little path we hadn’t used before from Bridge 17. After lunch we’ve just tried to keep warm in the boat apart from heading out to the parcel shed to pick up a couple of deliveries.
