A nice sunny start to the day, but it’s got more cloudy and breezy as the day has gone on. After our new normal breakfast routine, we set off about 9 on the short hop to Bollington. Again, very familiar waters now, so no photos were taken. We were surprised to find a free space on the aqueduct moorings, just about half a boat length along from where we were last week. Once moored up, I walked down to the Co-op for some shopping.
This afternoon we had our second session with Cal the puppy trainer. Apart from anything else, it’s good to be told that we’re essentially doing the right things. We also got some advice on calming Macc down, and ways to try to get him to sleep (because he’s a great one for propping his eyes open with matchsticks to make sure he’s not missing anything). We’ve also got a plan for another session next week, and a visit to a puppy class. Macc had already not had enough sleep today, and by the time Cal left he was exhausted; on her advice he went into his crate with a kong with some peanut butter in it, and before long he’d dropped off.
