Another day when it didn’t rain nearly as much as was forecast. We set out for our walk this morning while it was dry and headed south on Middlewood Way. When we got to the bridge which links to canal Bridge 25 we decided we might as well carry on to Bollington and have some tea at Cafe Waterside. We took one of the next exits from the path, from where there was a view of White Nancy up on the hill. We joined the towpath at Bridge 26 where there was a field of ponies, one of whom preferred the grass in the sheep and alpaca field.

We were soon as Clarence Mill, and went to the cafe for tea and a flapjack.

The return walk was all towpath. Shortly after we set off the rain started and we thought we might get soaked, but the shower didn’t last long. A moving boat also got caught in it.

Back at the boat I got the hosepipe out and filled the tank while we had lunch. This afternoon we’ve been pottering about, including sorting some things out for my dad.
