The moon was spectacular last night when I took Macc out for his late night wee, not least because of the reflection in the water. The full moon was actually just before dawn this morning, which explains why it was so big.
Macc had a good run around with a spaniel at the recreation ground this morning. He hadn’t really had enough of a morning nap when we headed into town to the bus station, to meet Adrian who arrived back from LA this morning.
His flight was full so he had to come back on a jump seat, but at least it was at the front of the plane so he was looked after by the First Class crew. Then his bus up the M40 had a problem with the air conditioning and sat on the hard shoulder for a little while. It meant it was a bit late getting in, and Macc had got rather bored or waiting. But he was excited to see Adrian, jumping up to say hello. Adrian had also brought him a present of a giraffe that’s ‘reinforced for tough play’ — so we’ll see how long it takes him to destroy it!
Just as we were getting back to the boat there was a very heavy shower, but otherwise it’s been a very pleasant day. This afternoon, we’ve all had a bit of a snooze, while more crews of happy hirers have been setting off from College Cruisers.
