Droitwich: Wednesday

Wall to wall sunshine today, and it even got quite warm. We knew the Tidys and Briar Rose were on their way down the Junction Canal from Hanbury, so when they got to the motorway bridge Adrian headed off to help them through the Barge Lock and the swing bridges in the park. I stayed behind with Macc as he was asleep. It wasn’t long before BR was sliding into the mooring next to us.

Adrian and Helen headed off to town, and then I had a walk after lunch taking in Pets at Home, Tool Station, and Waitrose! Along in the park, the marquee is going up for the festival this weekend.

And the local swans have been around showing off their cygnets. Apparently they didn’t have them yesterday, so they’re newly hatched.

We’re going for dinner next door on BR this evening, and Macc is coming too. At least it’s not far to bring him home if necessary!
