With just a short distance to go to, it was nearly 9.30 before we set off. I always love the little lagoon between Bridge 10 and Crick Tunnel. As we got to the far end of the tunnel, a boat was approaching to go in.

Boats were already mooring for the Crick Show at the other side, and there are big changes at the wharf, where Smithwood Narrowboats has taken over and has a massive crane.

We went and turned around so we were facing south, like all the boats around us. Once secure, we walked over to the show site to see Donna and Jam building the Braidbar stand, and I got nabbed to do an interview for BBC Northampton. It’ll be on the Breakfast Show tomorrow, apparently. This afternoon, Adrian has been up to the village Co-op, and I had a nap as I had a headache. We’ve also had some of the other Braidbar owners on board to see KV.
