Into the marina again

A much nicer day today, which made a change after two days of rain. We set off a bit before 10, and travelled on electric propulsion as we knew we’d soon be plugging into the mains. We got several more comments about the quietness!

It’s fairly slow going because there are quite a few moored boats along the stretch between Bollington and the marina. It’s also become quite a familiar stretch.

Not only was it sunny when we got back into the marina, but it was also not that windy which was good. Another good thing about electric propulsion is that you can go very slowly, so it’s excellent for manoeuvring into tight spaces such as our berth.

Once secure, we plugged in the electric and got the water tank filling. After lunch, we went to Tesco for a big shop, hoping we won’t have to go next week; it was busy enough as it was. As we were heading out, the owners of the Braidbar boat next to us, Bullfinch, were just arriving for a few days on board. We’ve invited them round for a drink a bit later.
