Much cooler this morning which was a great relief. We had visitors for lunch so spent some of the morning preparing. We also designed a new podcast poster which I got printed and laminated at Ryman in Praed Street just a short walk away. I had an appointment at 11.30 to meet a couple of people for an interview for a future podcast, round at Little Venice.
Adrian’s cousin, Fiona, and her family arrived from Kent, met Macc and had a guided tour of the boat. We made an easy lunch of quich, picky bits, and salad, and caught up on quite a lot of news. While Adrian sorted out Macc (whose lunch was pretty late by now), the rest of us went for a walk up the arm to Little Venice, round the pool and back again.
It was really nice to see them, particularly as kids that age are always so busy doing things. In fact they were heading home to pack for Findlay’s CCF trip to Dorset tomorrow. Macc’s having a well-earned sleep, and then we’re seeing Dawn and Dale from Dona Ferens for a drink.
