Sign writing

Our sign writer, Andy Russell, has been at Braidbar for the past few days working on Kingley Vale. Last night he posted some photos on Facebook, so I thought I’d put them on here too. Needless to say, we’re delighted with how it all looks.

We’d had quite a few discussion about the shading on the letters, because normally on a green background he’d have used red. But we don’t have any red in the colour scheme, so a lighter green worked really well with a black outline. In a couple of the photos, you can also see the stern doors Andy has also painted.

We’ll be up at Braidbar later this week to see it for ourselves, and check what else has been going on.
