The heatwave continues, and Macc gave us a bit of a lie in by not wanting to go out until after 7am. When I took him for a walk down to the tunnel entrance it was lit up beautifully in the sunshine. Macc also took an interest in the ducks some boaters had on the mooring stakes.

Adrian was on Braidbar stand duty between 10 and 12 so I stayed behind with Macc and got some writing done. Then after lunch I headed over to the show to do some recordings, including an interview with the new chief exec of CRT, Campbell Robb, for a future podcast. I then also went to his seminar session. Adrian was back on the stand at 4 so we swapped again. When the show closed at 6, we watched the exhibitors’ kayak race. I only saw heat, and when the boats got to the buoys they were supposed to turn around, one turned and one carried straight on!

This evening we’ve been up to the Red Lion in the village for a drink with some of the Braidbar gang.
